Appellant was separately indicted for possession of methamphetamine and possession of cocaine. The two indictments were consolidated for trial, despite appellants objection pursuant to V.T.C.A. Penal Code, ? 3.04(a). Punishment was assessed by the trial court at ten years probation and a five hundred dollar fine in each cause. A motion in arrest of judgment was filed for each conviction. The trial judge granted the motion only as to the conviction for possession of cocaine.
